FITNESS CAMP
PROGRAM
Our fitness camp is guaranteed to be fun, challenging and make your body more fit and functional. This invigorating group training program integrates balance, full body strength, core strength, stability, agility, flexibility, aerobic and anaerobic conditioning, and much more.
Our total body workout will incorporate a wide variety of equipment such as light weights, bars, tubing, stability bars and super bands. Additionally we will target heart rate goals to get you a great sweat!
We have designed a program that will satisfy the wants and needs of all level participants. The 75 minute workout will increase your fitness level, help with your athletic goals and develop your body to meet the demands of life and sport.
If you are desiring a structured and challenging workout, this is for you!
STAFF
Our fitness team brings to the camp over 26 years experience. Aaron, Johari and Amy have developed programs that fit the needs of all levels and age groups. They have dedicated much of their time working with the athletes and faculty at Chestnut Hill Academy and Springside School as well as the surrounding communities, educating all on the importance of health and fitness as lifetime goals.
Aaron Sistrunk
Aaron has a B.A. degree in Physical Education from Wesley College. He has been in the personal training field for over 13 years and is certified in Sports Nutrition and Personal Training, Bosu Kickboxing I & II and a specialist in Sports Conditioning. He is the strength and conditioning coach for all sports at Chestnut Hill Academy.
Amy Carolla
Amy is a graduate of West Chester University with a B.A. degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Nutrition. She has certifications with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the American College of Sports Medicine. Amy is currently a personal fitness trainer and the strength and conditioning coach at Springside School.
Johari Smith
Johari Smith has a B.A. degree in International Business and Marketing from Howard University. Her passion for fitness and health led her to become a personal trainer through A.A.A.I/I.S.M.A. Johari currently is the strength/conditioning, track, and cross-country coach at Springside School.
